Do you love yams but others say, “No, Ma’am?” Here’s the perfect casserole with slivers of yams scattered through disks of paper white new potatoes, topped with gruyere cheese. You can push the yams aside or pile them on as you please! You might even make a yam-believer out of a family member, you never can tell!
We took this recipe from Epicurious (try their free iPhone app) and doctored it up a bit. We used twice as much gruyere, and cut the cream with lowfat milk. It was fantastico, even better on night two!
