Recipes From A Reunion

reunion Spend Time Connecting with Friends, Not the Oven!

Fabulous Fall: Time to go old-school and reconnect with friends who knew you when…..you were a teenager, cooked in a “hot-pot”, fell in love for the first time, disappointed your parents…….and who love meeting the marvelous adult you’ve become!

Pictured above: Emory University Class of ’76 Smith Hall Hotties on location at Amy Meindl’s (center) River Cottage on the Brazos. Amy, a Round Top Antique Fair Veteran , literally designed her house around her favorite finds, including the oversized cabinet in the background of the picture above. Nestled into the riverbank, her home features an exterior of local stone and petrified wood, with a cool sage green interior and poured concrete floors that flow like the river outside. Amy’s managed to combine funky and spare into one space, so that each Roundtop treasure stands out to be appreciated.

And the recipes! Appetizers, Sandwiches, Sides, Standing Rib Roast, Breakfast Casserole….These girls maintained their strength for a river walk, shopping in nearby Glen Rose, and late-night “where have you been for the past 30-years” talks! Click here and just try to keep up!
